 The
study of Feng Shui is a long term process requiring commitment of
time and study, experiment and observation. Expertise is a gradual
and lengthy process.
My
study of Feng Shui began not with belief, but rather with disbelief.
The purpose was to either prove or disprove the validity of Feng
Shui.
Faith
came slowly and steadily. It did not come in one day.
After
reading several classics, the first question I asked myself was
whether Feng Shui was a reasonable system or baseless nonsense.
I was convinced that some parts of Feng Shui formed a concrete logical
system while many other Feng Shui materials consisted of nothing
but gratuitously deceptive nonsense.
I
studied the theories and tried various experiments myself. I have
arived at certain conclusions. I still continue to experiment with
various theories. Of course, if a teaching is not reasonable, I
would not bother even to try no matter how other people proclaim
its validity.
How
to use Water is the major concern in Feng Shui. I investigated different
approaches: San He Shui Fa, Xuan Kong Shui Fa, including activating
the Divine Water Dragon and the Castle Gate. Applying or not applying
Water makes a great difference. This has provided me assurance of
the effectiveness.
 However,
not every home can enjoy the benefit of Feng Shui. If a home admits
evil energy from the door and the door cannot be relocated, then
it is useless no matter what you do. If the incoming water and outgoing
water outside the house are not proper, then it is also useless
no matter what you do. So we can see how little can actually be
done.
Rearranging
furniture and decoration can improve the qi in a house. It cannot
change the qi in a house. Interior decoration can help further to
make the appropriate use of space.
Can
Feng Shui make you a billionaire? Not in my opinion. If it could,
then the world would be filled with billionaires.
Through
the use of Feng Shui we can help people improve their lives, but
we cannot change their lives.
